The Arcata Playhouse is a community arts centers that presents live theater, music, variety arts and films. The venue is regularly used by a wide variety of community organizations and individuals which include the Redwood Jazz Alliance, the Humboldt Folklife Society, our local NAACP chapter, Northcoast Environmental Center, local public schools and Humboldt State University. The Playhouse also hosts youth workshops, a teen program, an artists in the schools program and a family performance series.
