The California Poppies are a band native to Humboldt County, California. They combine an all original blend of 1960’s nostalgia and modern psychedelia to create a sound that is completely their own. The mission of the band is to spread positivity and love to people all over the world and create the highest quality of Rock and Roll possible.

The group’s music has already been played over 20,000 times in over 60 different countries on every streaming platform. The California Poppies are composed of Dashiell Rowe, Chris Reynoso, Gabriel Lubowe, and William English III.
It all started amidst a global pandemic in the spring of 2020. Guitarist and vocalist Dashiell Rowe was wondering through his garden when he stumbled upon a beautiful bouquet of California’s golden flower blooming in front of him. Suddenly Dashiell had the idea for creating a band called The California Poppies. He assembled Chris Reynoso, on lead guitar and vocals, Gabriel Lubowe, on drums and percussion, and William English on bass guitar. They began playing in Dashiell’s backyard garden until indoor venues opened up again. Since then they have headlined dozens of shows all over Northern California and have opened for acts including Mattiel, Esme Patterson, Billy Bob Thornton, Brett Dennen and others.
