In Finding Home, Meighan O’Brien follows Orphan Girl on an archeo-emotional dig, unearthing the rich veins of familial belonging and abandonment. Blending movement, storytelling, song and humor, Meighan mines the family treasure by talking to her people through layers of generational grief and a difficult childhood. She emerges humbled and triumphant aglow with the present of a joyous and evolving selfhood. Finding Home encourages us all to set forth upon the densely overgrown, shunned but never unlived, trails of our very own unique stories.
