Klamath. Salmon. Smith. Piru. Topanga. Fall. Kern. This is a film festival for those curious about the waters that sustain us all – humans & fish alike. Dive into stories from California’s rivers - from tribal heritage, to fly fishing, to community restoration and much in between. Are you fish-curious? Passionate about the connections between land, water, and cultural lifeways? Join us for an evening of storytelling, resilience, and celebration of our fishy neighbors.
The Fish Water People Film Festival features a series of short documentaries highlighting how people connect with water, fish, and wild places across California. The line up this year is narrative-driven, conservation-focused, personal, rooted in culture across the state, with lots of good fly-fishing content mixed in.
