Ten: Art Exhibit Opening

The Arcata Playhouse lobby transforms into an art gallery for the 10th Anniversary of the Zero to Fierce Festival. Doors open at 4:30, live music by Girl Trouble at 5 PM.

Girl Trouble is an all-female rock band with deep country roots and a backyard-born spirit. Fronted by singer and rhythm guitarist Lisa Smith, with Edy Smith on lead guitar, Dharla Curry on bass, and Carrie Slack on drums, the band blends raw rock energy with classic Americana influences. Their sets range from Imelda May and Leonard Cohen to the Grateful Dead and The Derailers. A true local band with a fiercely loyal fan base playing private parties, this will be their first public appearance.
