The Women's Soapbox

"I am not a therapist, just a writer and a publisher of women’s writing. I do know that there are all kinds of women here in Humboldt who, like myself, due to where we live, have limited ways of communicating outside our little boxes. I miss sharing with women in a creative way, and so invented the Women’s Soapbox. "

Imagine a circle where we each think and/or write out in a poem or prose piece for a short time, then come back together to speak on your soapbox seat (if you like)  into the circle without anyone judging what you said in a safe, nurturing space, no matter what you are struggling with in your life. I have found this to be profoundly healing and helpful in my life, sometimes waking me up with new revelations and compassion.
