About the event
Slip through the side door and into a glittering underground of music, movement, and mischief. A Side Door Soirée is a clandestine cabaret of courage, and a Prohibition era inspired night of aerial artistry, sultry songstresses, and a live house band swinging in the name of inclusion.
Presented by Playhouse Arts, this one-night-only speakeasy experience is both a celebration and an act of defiance, spotlighting the voices and visions that DEI rollbacks aim to silence. Come dressed to impress, and prepare to be delighted, dazzled, and stirred to action.
Back door entry only. The password is solidarity.
Doors open at 7:00 PM | Curtain at 7:30 PM
All proceeds support Playhouse Arts and its many programs, including Our Space Arts, Humboldt Hot Air, The Arcata Playhouse, Skue-yech sonee nah, the Family Fun Series, Pageant at the Playhouse, Cardboard Camp, and community-based arts.
